Job summary

Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant to create a welcoming, service‑driven environment for members and guests through attentive support, professionalism, and teamwork.

You will assist with merchandise inquiries, check in players, manage carts, process transactions at the front counter, maintain displays and shop cleanliness, and collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations while upholding our appearance standards.

As a Golf Shop Attendant, this role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, service-driven environment for members and guests through attentive support, professionalism, and teamwork.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Golf Operations team, your essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Promptly assist members and guests with merchandise and booking inquiries.
• Check in members and guests, assign golf carts, and maintain appropriate logs.
• Assist members and guests with merchandise questions and purchases.
• Process transactions and maintain the front counter.
• Ensure merchandise displays are organized and maintained to presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop.
• Handle member requests in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
• Assist with merchandise inventory as needed.
• Support other areas of the club as needed to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain personal appearance standards and wear assigned uniforms.
• Adheres to all Dormie Network’s policies, procedures and service standards.
• Work collaboratively with all employees to support an efficient and positive team environment.
• Consistently greet members, guests, and fellow employees with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a willingness to help.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on Club operations and member needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and turn.
• Ability to visually inspect merchandise items and member equipment for cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
