Job summary

Briggs Ranch Golf Club is seeking a Server to deliver attentive service to members and guests across dining outlets, on-course, and events. You will prepare dining areas, take orders in POS, and ensure accurate accounting while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Flexibility with evenings and weekends is required, and you will support special events and banquets, working as part of a collaborative team to uphold overall guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in food and beverage service or a related hospitality setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality and service throughout interactions with members and guests.
• Serve food and beverages in dining outlets, on-course, and during events in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare dining areas for service, including cleaning, setting, and resetting tables and service stations.
• Receive and enter orders into the POS system and ensure proper account handling.
• Prepare and deliver food and beverages in accordance with standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and stations.
• Complete daily side work, opening and closing responsibilities, including basic accounting tasks.
• Monitor guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
• Stock, organize, move supplies, and assist with furniture or room resets.
• Support special events, banquets, and club functions as assigned.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, safety, and food handling standards.
• Perform additional duties to support Food and Beverage operations.
• Work collaboratively to support an efficient and positive team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provide exceptional hospitality and service throughout all interactions with members and guests, consistently anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Serve food and beverages in dining outlets, on-course, and during events in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare dining areas for service, including cleaning, setting, and resetting tables and service stations.
• Receive and accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and ensure proper account handling.
• Prepare and deliver food and beverage items in accordance with service and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and service stations.
• Complete daily side work, opening, and closing responsibilities, including basic accounting tasks as assigned.
• Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience and respond promptly and professionally.
• Stock, organize, move supplies, and assist with furniture or room resets as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and turn in service and kitchen areas.
• Ability to visually inspect food, beverages, and service areas for quality and presentation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and standard service equipment.
