Conceptualized by celebrated golf course designer Tripp Davis and PGA Tour star Tom Lehman, the Golf Club at Ocala Preserve is where golf changes forever. Not only does the course include all the challenges of a traditionally-styled golf course, but its revolutionary routing provides maximum flexibility in terms of playability, challenge, and time commitment. The course’s footprint – on 50 acres as opposed to the 100+ required by conventional, full-size courses – reduces its environmental impact. The result is a course that can be played in multiple ways, each offering a new experience.

Primary essential functions for this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Greet golf course guests entering the golf shop
2. Set up tee times and collect greens fees or cart fees
3. Restock merchandise as necessary
4. Handle sales transactions according to established guidelines
5. Upsell or suggest merchandise to golfers
6. Open / Close pro shop according to established procedures
7. Maintain an accurate cash bank at all times and deposit money as established
8. Answer pro shop telephone in a professional manner
9. Clean around golf shop, golf course and practice areas
10. Assist with set up and operation of golf outings and tournaments
11. During slow periods, help maintain the pro shop merchandise area, restrooms, etc.
12. Handle any guest complaints or issues in a professional manner
13. Monitor inventory levels and report back to manager
