In this role, you will assist customers with their checking in, process transactions, and ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the shop.
Experience Required- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience preferred, especially in a golf or sporting goods environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash handling.
- Knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Essential Responsibilities- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in checking in and if they have any questions regarding the course
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including merchandise displays and inventory shelves.
- Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting periodic stock counts.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the golf shop and exceptional customer experiences.
