The Golf Mart, part of Worldwide Golf, is seeking a Golf Sales Associate to promote our store culture and help customers choose the right golf equipment. You will use launch monitors and simulators to enhance the in-store experience, while maintaining product knowledge and merchandising standards.

Qualified candidates may have golf industry experience; entry-level applicants are welcome. Competitive base pay with commission, plus benefits and learning opportunities are provided.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
