GlobalGolf Outlet in Tampa, FL is seeking a part-time Golf Sales Associate to promote our store culture and assist customers with golf equipment selections. You will evaluate customers’ needs, explain product benefits, and use launch monitor data to enhance the in-store experience.

Formación

• Golf knowledge/background required.
• Experience in golf or retail is a plus.
• Ability to stand and be active throughout shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Promote golf products and store promotions to customers.
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend suitable golf equipment.
• Educate customers on products and features; compare options.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping sales floor organized.
• Research merchandise availability and aid stockroom inventory.
• Identify process improvements after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

The Golf Sales Associate at GlobalGolf Outlet is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the "Sure No Problem" philosophy. Responsibilities include:

• Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Any experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level candidates will also be considered!).
