Job summary

Worldwide Golf is seeking a friendly Golf Sales Associate to join Golfdom. You will promote a supportive store culture, learn golf products, and assist customers with equipment recommendations during in-store experiences.

You will operate launch monitors and simulators, assist with merchandising, stock checks, and contribute to process improvements. A willingness to stand and work varied hours is required.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background required.
• Experience in golf industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, inventory).

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf values.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend golf equipment.
• Educate customers and compare products to aid decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator during in-store experiences.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
