Worldwide Golf is hiring a Golf Sales Associate to promote a customer-focused store culture and provide equipment recommendations. You’ll educate customers on golf products, operate launch monitor equipment, and assist with merchandising and inventory to keep the sales floor inviting and organized.

The role requires golf knowledge, willingness to work varied hours, and experience in the golf industry is a plus.

• Experience working in the golf industry is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work varied hours as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend golf equipment based on features and benefits.
• Educate customers and help them compare products to support educated decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experiences.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability and assist with stock and inventory where needed.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
