Job summary

Worldwide Golf is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in New Hampshire to assist customers with golf and ski equipment, provide expert recommendations, and maintain a well-organized sales floor.

Responsibilities include product knowledge, merchandising, and operating in-store launch monitor and golf simulator data to enhance the customer experience. Training will focus on promotions, stock management, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge or ski knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Enthusiastic, customer-focused with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf and ski product knowledge, terminology, and promotions.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend golf/ski equipment.
• Educate customers on products and help compare differences for informed decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator in-store to provide data.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability and replenish stock from stockroom.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

• Maintain an awareness of all golf and ski product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf and ski equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf and ski equipment for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in‑store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and take inventory of stock where needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Desired

• Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary; we are looking for avid golf or ski enthusiasts, industry experience is not required.

Requirements

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store; physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking, and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order-processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including one day on the weekend.
