Job summary

Worldwide Golf in Hudson, NH is seeking a Sales Associate to help customers with golf and ski equipment and provide expert product information. You will support in-store promotions, manage inventory tasks, and keep the floor organized to meet company standards.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about golf or skiing and comfortable using store systems for inventory, ordering, and checkout. Full-time hours with opportunities for growth are available.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Maintain an awareness of all golf and ski product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf and ski equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf and ski equipment for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in‑store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and take inventory of stock where needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Desired

• Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary; we are looking for avid golf or ski enthusiasts, industry experience is not required.

Requirements

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store; physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking, and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order-processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including one day on the weekend.
