Job summary

Worldwide Golf Shops is seeking a Sales Associate in West Lebanon, NH to promote a helpful store culture and guide customers in selecting golf and ski gear. You will use product knowledge, run the launch monitor and golf simulator, and assist with merchandising to maintain an engaging sales floor.

Responsibilities include evaluating customer needs, comparing products, educating shoppers, and assisting with stock management.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge and/or ski knowledge is preferred but not necessary.
• Industry experience is NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a store culture consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy.
• Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf and ski equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf and ski equipment for the customer.
• Educate customers on our golf and ski products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and take inventory of stock where needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

Requirements

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
• Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including one day on the weekend.
