FJDynamics is seeking a hands-on Sales Engineer (Field Applications Engineer) in the United States to support dealers, partners, and customers. You will deploy and service robotic mowing systems, train users, and work with engineering teams to improve performance.

You will collaborate with sales and product teams, provide field feedback, and help expand market presence for our robotics solutions in landscaping, turf, and outdoor maintenance. This role requires travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, Turf Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in field service, technical support, application engineering, equipment repair, or after-sales support.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, software, or connectivity systems.
  • Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for commercial robotic mowing systems.
  • Install, commission, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair robotic mowing equipment.
  • Deliver technical training to dealers and customers to build strong service capabilities.
  • Support product demonstrations, customer trials, dealer events, and trade shows.
  • Conduct field testing of new products and software releases, documenting performance and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product, R&D, Sales, and Quality teams to identify issues and improve product performance.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, technical reports, and customer case records.
  • Assist the sales team with technical presentations and customer-facing solution discussions.

As we continue to grow our commercial robotic mowing business in the U.S., we're looking for a hands-on Sales Engineer (Field Applications Engineer) to support our dealers, partners, and customers while helping drive market expansion.

What You'll Do

As a key technical representative, you'll work closely with customers, dealers, the U.S. sales team, and our global engineering teams to ensure successful product deployment and long-term customer success.

Your responsibilities include:

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, Turf Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in field service, technical support, application engineering, equipment repair, or after-sales support.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, software, or connectivity systems.
  • Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with robotic lawn mowers, commercial turf equipment, outdoor power equipment, or autonomous machinery.
  • Knowledge of RTK GPS, autonomous navigation, sensors, charging systems, mobile apps, or wireless connectivity.
  • Experience supporting commercial dealers, landscaping contractors, golf courses, municipalities, or sports facilities.
  • Experience delivering technical training and creating service documentation.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ticketing, or warranty management systems.
