Job summary

PGA TOUR Superstore is hiring a Hard Goods Associate in Natick, MA to engage customers in the Hard Goods areas, assist with returns, exchanges, and promotions, and ensure merchandise is presented at a premiere level.

You will demonstrate product knowledge, help with club fitting, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while delivering world-class service and collaborating with teammates to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Communication: strong listening and interpersonal skills; verbal and written communication, cross-functional.
• Computer: basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Organization: organize multiple priorities to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Retail sales, customer service or similar experience preferred.

• Accountability: strong self‑accountability and proactive drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Engage with every Customer encountered and offer world class service by leveraging PGATSS Service behaviors.
• Focus on building lasting relationships that keep the Customer coming back.
• Engage Customers throughout the Hard Goods areas (Simulators, Putting Green, Club Repair, and Accessories).
• Maintain a working knowledge of Front-End operations such as returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty program awards, discounts, promotions, coupons, etc.
• Assist in keeping Hard Goods areas (Simulators, Putting Green, and Accessories) merchandise presence at a premiere stock and visual level to drive sales and the Customer experience.
• Ensure all Hard Goods areas, equipment, and supplies are maintained and operational.
• Maintaining the Hard Goods area in a clean, professional presentation at all times.
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge of various golf clubs and explain features, benefits, and differences to Customers.
• Execution of proper customer fittings in accordance with PGA TOUR Superstore trained fitting techniques.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across all departments.
• Assist Customers with club fitting, including selecting the right shaft, grip, and specifications for optimal performance.
• Stay up to date on upcoming merchandising promotions and marketing events to maintain a strong merchandising presence during promotions.
• Be a champion of the products and services offerings, inform, educate, and promote offerings to Customers.
• Provide feedback to the Sales and Service Manager on opportunities to improve operations and merchandising.
