Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Golf Professional to lead teaching and club fitting, delivering high‑quality instruction and building a robust student base. You will partner with certified fitters to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience and help golfers reach their goals.

This role emphasizes community outreach, coaching, and ongoing learning in a fast-paced retail environment, with opportunities to contribute to a broader sports‑education experience across our House of Sport locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience.
• Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing.
• 3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training.
• PGA/LPGA member in good standing; Apprentice Level 1-3 or pathway in progress.
• Trackman Level 1 and 2 credentials.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for golf equipment and related technology.
• Desire for continued learning and teaching others.
• Stays current with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Builds student base by creating safe environments for all golfers and provides high-quality instruction.
• Talks with clients to identify strengths and weaknesses of swing and game; acts as trusted advisor.
• Collaborates with fitters to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience and teach lesson plans.
