Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Grapevine, TX, seeks a Golf Professional to build a robust student base, provide high-quality instruction, and act as a Trusted Advisor for golfers. You will tailor lessons to individual goals, assess swing mechanics, and foster strong client relationships.

Collaborate with Certified Fitters, assist with fittings and lesson planning, and share knowledge to help golfers improve their game.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience.
• Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing.
• 3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training.
• PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1,2,3 or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through our PGA/LPGA Associate Program.
• Trackman Level 1 & 2.
• Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for golf equipment & related technology.
• Desire for continued learning (self) and teaching others.
• Stays current with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Builds student base by creating safe environments for all Golfers, provide high quality instruction, and build long lasting relationships with each student.
• The Golf Pro partners with local organizations to teach, support, and spread awareness of the Golf Galaxy experience.
• Works with Certified Fitters to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience during fittings and lesson planning.
