Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods seeks a Golf Professional to teach and grow a loyal student base in a dynamic environment. You will provide high-quality instruction, assess each golfer’s goals, and act as a trusted advisor for swing development.

Collaborating with Fitters and staff, you’ll tailor lessons, support club-fitting services, and help promote the Dick’s House of Sport experience in the local community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience in golf instruction.
• Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing.
• 3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training.
• PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1,2,3 or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through our PGA/LPGA Associate Program.
• Trackman Level 1 & Trackman Level 2.
• Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for golf equipment & related technology.
• Desire for continued learning (self) and teaching others.
• Stays current with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Builds student base by creating safe environments for all Golfers, provide high quality instruction, and build long lasting relationships with each student.
• Collaborates with local organizations to teach, support, and promote the DICK’S House of Sport experience.
• Works with Certified Fitters and teammates to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience during fittings and lessons.
