Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Golf Professional to lead high-quality instruction for golfers of all levels. You will build a robust student base, assess swing and game, and act as a trusted advisor to tailor lesson plans and equipment recommendations.

Collaborate with certified fitters and teammates to enhance the experience during fittings and club tech, while engaging with local organizations to promote lessons and our Dick's House of Sport services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years golf/teaching experience.
• Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing.
• 3+ years knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training.
• PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1,2,3 or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through our PGA/LPGA Associate Program.
• Trackman Level 1 & 2 certified
• Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for golf equipment & related technology
• Desire for continued learning (self) and teaching others
• Stays current with industry trends

Responsibilities

• Builds student base by providing high quality instruction and building lasting relationships.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of swing and game and tailor lesson goals as Trusted Advisor.
• Collaborate with Certified Fitters to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience during fittings and club tech.
• Develop new teaching methods to reach students across various learning styles.
• Engage in community outreach to promote our Dick's House of Sport experiences.
