Job summary

Bentwater Yacht & Country Club is seeking a detail-oriented Golf Pro Shop Buyer to curate apparel and merchandise for members and guests. You will manage purchasing, vendor relationships, and inventory, ensuring displays reflect club standards and current trends.

Ideal candidates have experience in retail buying or merchandising, strong organization and communication, and comfort with POS and inventory software.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail buying, merchandising, or inventory management preferred.
• Knowledge of golf apparel, lifestyle brands, and retail trends is a plus.
• Strong organization, communication, and vendor relationship skills.
• Comfort with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and provide professional member service.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Product Selection: Select golf apparel, footwear, accessories, and merchandise within approved budgets.
• Vendor Relationships: Maintain vendor partnerships, negotiate pricing, and coordinate orders and deliveries.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock, sales trends, seasonal assortments, and excess inventory.
• Visual Merchandising: Create appealing, organized displays that enhance the shopping experience.
• Sales & Member Experience: Partner with Golf staff to understand member preferences and support service.
• Financial Accountability: Track purchasing budgets, pricing, margins, and inventory accuracy.
