Job summary

The King and Prince Golf Club on Saint Simons Island is seeking an Outside Operations Supervisor to lead the daily outside service operation and deliver a welcoming, organized experience for our members and visiting players.

This hands-on leadership role coordinates Cart Attendants, Bag Drop Attendants, Starters, Rangers, Practice Facility Attendants, and other Outside Operations team members while maintaining our service and presentation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two or more years of golf operations or guest-service experience preferred.
• Supervisor or team lead experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with golf terminology, etiquette, cart operations, and pace-of-play preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to train and coach staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily Outside Operations activities and team assignments.
• Maintain presence at bag drop, cart staging areas, practice facilities, first tee, and player arrival/departure areas.
• Train, coach, and support Outside Operations team members.
• Oversee golf cart preparation, staging, cleaning, charging, rotation, and storage.
• Coordinate golf bag handling, storage, preparation, and return.
• Help ensure practice facilities are organized, stocked, and ready for play throughout the day.
• Support starters and rangers with first-tee organization, player flow, and pace-of-play expectations.
• Assist with tournaments, outings, member events, and resort activities.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and presentation throughout Outside Operations areas.
• Partner closely with the Golf Shop, Golf Course Maintenance, Food and Beverage, Sales, Events, and Resort Operations teams.
• Step into operational assignments whenever needed to support the team and provide an exceptional golf experience.

The King and Prince Golf Club is seeking an Outside Operations Supervisor to help lead the daily outside service operation and create a welcoming, organized, and personalized experience for our members and visiting players.

This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being part of the action. The Outside Operations Supervisor helps coordinate our Cart Attendants, Bag Drop Attendants, Starters, Rangers, Practice Facility Attendants, and other Outside Operations team members while maintaining the service and presentation standards associated with The King and Prince Golf Club and The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

• Help lead and coordinate daily Outside Operations activities and team assignments.
• Maintain an active presence at the bag drop, cart staging areas, practice facilities, first tee, and player arrival and departure areas.
• Train, coach, and support Outside Operations team members.
• Oversee golf cart preparation, staging, cleaning, charging, rotation, and storage.

• Two or more years of experience in golf operations, outside services, hospitality, recreation, or a related guest-service environment preferred.
• Previous experience as a supervisor, team lead, trainer, or senior team member preferred.
• Familiarity with golf terminology, etiquette, cart operations, bag services, practice facilities, and pace-of-play expectations preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• A commitment to personalized service and professional hospitality.
• Ability to train, coach, delegate, and provide clear direction to team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Schedule & Work Environment

Golf operations require flexibility based on tee times, tournaments, seasonal demand, and business levels. This position may work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

The role is primarily active and outdoors and requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, work in changing weather conditions, safely operate golf carts and authorized equipment, and lift or carry golf bags, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
