Job summary

The King and Prince Golf Club on St. Simons Island, GA, is seeking a Golf Services Associate to greet players, assist with bags and carts, and ensure a smooth, welcoming experience from arrival to departure. This outdoor role combines hospitality with golf operations in a fast-paced setting.

You will help maintain practice facilities, carts, and service areas while supporting events and member activities, requiring reliability, punctuality, and a passion for golf.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service, hospitality, recreation, or golf operations experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of golf terminology, etiquette, and equipment is preferred.
• Enthusiasm for golf and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart.
• Ability to lift and move golf bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Golf operations take place seven days a week; availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, tournaments, and special events is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome golfers and assist with bags, carts, directions, and general needs.
• Clean, inspect, charge, stock, and stage golf carts for daily play.
• Maintain the driving range, putting green, chipping area, and other practice facilities.
• Retrieve, stage, clean, and organize golf bags, rental clubs, and equipment.
• Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming outdoor service areas.
• Support tournaments, clinics, outings, member events, and other golf activities.
• Anticipate player needs and provide attentive, professional service throughout each shift.
• Work closely with the Golf Professional Staff and other Golf Operations team members.
