Job summary

Boyne Resorts is seeking a Business Planning and Control Manager for its BOYNE Golf Operations portfolio. This full-time role partners with senior leadership to ensure standardized best practices across golf courses, oversees analytics, budget development, and multi-year capital planning, and supports operational improvements.

The role requires deep analytical capabilities, strong communication, and collaboration with property leadership and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience building and interpreting operational and financial reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfort presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience supporting budget development, financial review, and capital planning processes.
• Working knowledge of golf course maintenance practices and capital asset planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Standardize operating procedures and best practices across all golf courses; cover shop operations, staffing models, and guest experience.
• Develop annual operating strategy and long-range planning goals for the golf portfolio with SVP input.
• Own analysis of key golf metrics and build dashboards for leadership visibility.
• Support annual golf operations budget development and monitor monthly/quarterly performance against budget.
• Assist in multi-year maintenance capital plans for golf course assets and track project spending.
• Partner with senior leadership across day-to-day operations and cross-functional discussions.
