Landscapes Golf Management in Leesburg, FL is seeking a high-energy 1st Assistant Golf Professional to elevate our golf operations year-round and develop leadership and operational skills. The role works closely with the Head Golf Professional/General Manager to ensure the best possible experience for members and guests.

The position involves hiring and training staff, managing pro shop operations, coordinating tournaments, and delivering lessons.

Qualifications

Knowledge of pro shop organization and staff management.
Understanding of golf rules and tournament organization.
Familiarity with practice facility operation and management.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to deliver high level of customer service with attention to detail.
Proficiency with MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

Promote and uphold the company values.
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise pro shop staff and cart attendants; direct daily pro shop operations and merchandise concession.
Assist Head Golf Professional with financial records and revenue reports.
Open/close pro shop per SOP; assist with deposits and register setup.
Collect payroll information and ensure timely submission.
Manage cash flow and reconcile sales with receipts.
Maintain records of green fees and cart rentals.
Control play pace and maintain a professional environment.
Monitor customer preferences and identify service improvements.
Plan and conduct individual and group golf lessons and clinics.
Handle member and guest requests professionally.
