Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island invites applications for a Golf Pro Shop Intern. You will gain hands-on experience in golf operations, guest service, retail management, and tournament administration while assisting guests with merchandise, tee times, events, and daily shop activities.

This internship focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, supporting shop operations, and learning resort amenities. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Golf Management, Hospitality, Business, Recreation, or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor.
• Passion for golf and the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support daily golf shop operations, including retail sales, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Assist with tee time reservations, player check-ins, and tournament registration.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the golf shop and surrounding areas.
• Provide information regarding golf programs, lessons, merchandise, and resort amenities.
• Assist with tournament and special event preparation and execution.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Promote a positive guest experience by anticipating and responding to guest needs.
