Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island is seeking a Tennis Pro Shop Attendant to deliver exceptional guest service while supporting daily shop operations, court reservations, tennis programming, and retail transactions in a luxury setting.

You will greet guests, assist with bookings, process purchases at the POS, maintain shop cleanliness, and collaborate with Tennis Professionals and resort departments to ensure Forbes-level service and a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality, recreation, or customer service preferred.
• Tennis or sports experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Flexible schedules including weekends/holidays/evenings.
• Dependable, organized, and guest-focused.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, members, and visitors warmly and professionally.
• Assist guests with court reservations, tennis lesson bookings, clinic registrations, and general tennis inquiries.
• Process retail purchases, court fees, and program transactions at the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the Tennis Pro Shop and surroundings.
• Merchandise retail products including apparel, racquets, accessories, and tennis equipment.
• Answer phone calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management including receiving, stocking, pricing, and organizing merchandise.
• Support tennis events, tournaments, clinics, camps, and resort activities as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, dining outlets, activities, and local attractions to better assist guests.
• Ensure all guest interactions reflect luxury hospitality and Forbes-level service.
