Job summary

GreatLIFE Golf on Hilton Head Island is seeking a part-time Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. Creates a positive experience by assisting guests and members with inside services and supporting pro shop operations.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Duties include upkeep of the clubhouse, setting up golf tournaments, handling cash, scheduling tee times, selling merchandise, educating players on course policy and pace of play, and other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with upkeep of the clubhouse and pro shop.
• Set up and execute golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests.
• Handle cash and/or credit cards accurately.
• Schedule tee times and resolve customer concerns.
• Sell merchandise.
• Educate players on course policy and pace of play.
• May direct start of play.
• Maintain records of golfers renting clubs.
• Assist with food and beverage activities as needed.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Any other duties as assigned by direct manager/supervisor.
