Shanty Creek Resorts is seeking a Golf Operations Intern to support daily golf facility operations and provide exceptional guest service in a resort setting. The role involves assisting with tee times, guest check-ins, and event coordination to ensure smooth golf operations.

The internship offers hands-on exposure to hospitality, recreation, sports management, and golf operations, with opportunities to learn and grow within a resort environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from Hospitality Management, Recreation, Sports Management, or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operations of the golf course and golf shop.
• Assist with managing tee times and guest check-ins.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Support the planning and execution of golf events and tournaments.
• Assist with event logistics to help ensure tournaments and special events operate efficiently.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the golf shop and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with team members to promote golf programs, services, and events.
• Support sales and marketing efforts related to golf operations as assigned.
• Assist with additional operational responsibilities based on business and guest needs.
