Job Description

The Spray Technician is responsible for delivering quality service that exceeds guest and member expectations. The role involves proactively adhering to service standards, following safety regulations, and acquiring the knowledge to assist guests with all needs, creating lifelong guests.

Responsibilities

1. Apply chemicals and fertilizers as required.
2. Operate powered equipment for mowing golf course greens, aprons, and tees.
3. Water greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
4. Grade and prepare soil beds; lay sod, plant vegetative material; seed greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
5. Assist with course setup.
6. Operate light equipment for hauling materials.
7. Maintain golf course grounds using walking and riding mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, carts, and hand tools.
8. Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs; rake bunkers; weed eat and edge bunkers.
9. Set cups and move tee markers.
10. Water greens and tees by hand; assist with irrigation repairs.
11. Perform custodial duties on golf course grounds and buildings, including cleaning, restocking, sweeping, trash collection, and mopping.
12. Report site issues immediately and respond appropriately to emergencies.
13. Paint and maintain buildings; perform light carpentry work as needed.
14. Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and sod; mulch and edge beds; prepare beds for planting; weed and water plantings.
15. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
16. Assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

1. Proficiency in turf and plant fertilization, chainsaw operation, woody plant installation, construction, hardscapes, and skidsteer operation.
2. Must be 18 years or older.
3. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods or entire shifts.
4. Physical ability to walk, run, bend, push, pull, and lift moderate to heavy weights.
