Job Description

The Spray Technician is responsible for delivering quality service that exceeds guest and member expectations. This role involves proactively adhering to service standards, following safety regulations, and gaining knowledge to assist guests with any needs, creating guests for life.

Responsibilities

• Apply chemicals and fertilizers appropriately.
• Operate powered equipment for mowing golf course greens, aprons, and tees.
• Water greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Grade, prepare soil beds, lay sod, plant vegetative materials, and seed greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Set up the course.
• Operate light equipment for hauling materials.
• Use various mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, carts, and hand tools to maintain golf course grounds and landscaping.
• Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs; rake bunkers; weed eat and edge bunker faces.
• Set cups and move tee markers.
• Water greens and tees manually; assist with irrigation repairs.
• Perform light custodial tasks on golf course grounds and facilities, such as cleaning, restocking, sweeping, trash collection, and mopping.
• Report issues to supervisor immediately and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Perform light maintenance on buildings, including painting and carpentry.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and sod; mulch and edge beds; prepare planting beds; weed; water plantings.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in turf/plant fertilization, chainsaw operation, woody plant installation, construction, hardscapes, and skidsteer operation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including entire shifts.
• Physical ability to walk, run, bend, push, pull, and lift moderate to heavy weights.
