NEBCO, Inc. d/b/a Quarry Oaks Golf Club (“Company”), needs 8 temporary Golf Course Maintenance Laborers from 04/01/2025 – 11/30/2025 at 16600 Quarry Oaks Drive, Ashland, NE 68003. Work is full-time; Monday – Saturday; 5:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.; at least 43.5 hrs/week; Company uses a single workweek as the standard for computing wages due; workers paid every week. Pay is at least $19.59/hr - $22.30/hr (higher rates possible based on experience or skill) with applicable benefits. Workers are eligible for overtime pay of at least $29.39/hr - $33.45/hr, equal to one and one-half times the regular hourly rate for all hours over 40 in a given workweek, which may be available based on weather conditions and business needs (historic average is approximately 5-10 hours per week in peak of busy season). If requested by workers, Company will assist with securing adequate housing for the temporary season plus utilities in employer-owned and/or employer-rented housing at a rate of approximately $138.56 per person per pay period.
Job duties include the following:
Under general direction mows grounds, performs maintenance and landscaping projects of a public golf course. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
Company will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job to workers at no charge. The costs of transportation (including subsistence and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment will be reimbursed upon arrival (subject to repayment to Company if the workers do not complete at least one-half of the employment period). Company will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, that are actually incurred by the workers (other than those fees primarily for the benefit of the workers). Upon completion of the work contract or where a worker is dismissed earlier, Company will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88/day during travel to a maximum of $59.00/day with receipts. Company guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Must have a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one as of the first day of employment.
