Job summary

Wildhorse Golf Course in Pendleton, OR is seeking a friendly golf grill attendant to provide beverage service and a welcoming dining experience. Greet guests, take orders, serve drinks, handle payments, and maintain a clean, safe dining area as part of a cohesive team.

Requirements include 3 months of food and customer service experience, cash handling, ability to stand and lift up to 25 lbs, and obtaining a Food Handler certificate and OLCC card within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Three (3) months of food and customer service experience.
• Three (3) months of cash handling experience.
• Must stand and/or walk for long periods; able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude toward guests.
• Must obtain Food Handler Certification and OLCC card within 30 days of employment.
• Must pass a criminal background check and be at least 21 years old.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing efficient and personable service for Golf Grill guests, including beverage orders, service, and overall dining experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
• Greets and acknowledge guests entering the restaurant and/or seated in the assigned service area.
• Promptly offers beverage service and other amenities to guests.
• Provides alcohol service and collects payment.
• Provides attentive service throughout guest’s meals, graciously serving, and refilling beverages and condiments.
• Maintains area for cleanliness by promptly removing dishes, wiping off chairs, tables, and high/booster chairs, and resetting tables in a quick and timely manner.
• Displays and promotes a positive attitude and willingness to be a part of the team including assisting others as needed.
• Keeps the Supervisor apprised of any customer concerns or positive remarks.
• Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to Supervisor.
• Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
• Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
• Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Three (3) months of food and customer service experience.
• Three (3) months of cash handling experience.
• Need to stand and or walk for long periods; needs to perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; and needs to bend, lift and maneuver 25 lbs.
• Effective communication skills - Needs to read, verbally provide instruction, respond to questions, and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
• Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
