Job summary

Wildhorse Resort Casino in Pendleton, OR is hiring for a Beverage/Guest Services role. The position pays $14.50-$18.00 per hour and requires at least six months of hospitality experience, valid Food Handler's and OLCC service permits within 30 days of hire, and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and delivering beverage and food orders, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a clean, safe service area in a busy casino environment; must be 21+, able to stand long

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in the customer service/hospitality industry.
• Possesses or obtains a Food Handler's and OLCC service permit within 30 days of hire.
• POS and cash handling experience.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Effective communication skills - provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Stand and/or walk for long periods; work in a smoke-filled environment; perform repetitive motions with arms, etc.; bend, lift, and maneuver 50 lbs.; and have good visual and auditory acuity to respond.
• Work a flexible schedule - weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
• Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Retrieves drink orders from the beverage stations or bar areas and promptly delivers them to customers.
• Promptly takes beverage and/or food orders, accepts payment for item(s), and processes payment as outlined.
• Ensures that beverage/food order is accurate and promptly delivered to the guest.
• M akes continual rounds throughout the gaming areas to maintain food and beverage service.
• Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
• Constantly maintains a clean, efficient work area, wipes spills, replenishes condiments and when able, assists with service and maintenance of beverage stations.
• Complies with regulatory laws, PP&P, OLCC regulations, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
• Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensures that equipment, tools, and materials are handled safely.
• Other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
