Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Florida is hiring store teammates to greet customers, understand their needs, and help them select equipment and apparel. Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Stand/walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs to support shopping experiences.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards including floor sets, signage, price changes and inventory presentation.
• Promote store programs such as loyalty, warranty sales and private label enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
