Job summary

Acushnet Company, home of Titleist, seeks a Research Engineer to advance golf club performance. You will apply engineering principles, experiments, and simulations to evaluate designs and drive innovation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.

This hands-on role requires experience with FEA tools, MATLAB and Python, plus lab-based data acquisition. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with 3+ years in a related field and a passion for golf.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (required).
• 3+ years of progressively responsible professional experience.
• Golf knowledge or industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools; HyperMesh and LS-DYNA strongly preferred.
• Experience with MATLAB and Python strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with both practical, lab-based work and data acquisition techniques.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles, experimental methods, and computational analysis to evaluate and innovate golf club designs.
• Lead complex simulation and data analysis efforts.
• Develop next-generation product concepts using advanced modeling techniques.
• Collaborate across research, testing, innovation and design teams to bring breakthrough ideas to life.
• Contribute to IP development through patent exploration and documentation.
