Job summary

The Course at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA is seeking a Golf Maintenance Mechanic to manage the equipment fleet and lead preventative maintenance. Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, bend and twist frequently and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Read and understand maintenance manuals; English required, Spanish a plus.
• Ability to operate and repair golf course equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Superintendent and Assistants regarding equipment availability, repairs, and scheduling.
• Maintain the fleet of golf course and landscape maintenance equipment.
• Develop, implement, and document a preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
• Perform preventative and curative maintenance on the equipment fleet.
• Inspect and adjust quality of cut and height of cut.
• Order and manage inventory of parts, fuels, lubricants, tools, and shop supplies.
• Oversee cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility and ensure OSHA/CA compliance.
• Support safety training and continuous improvements to operations.
