Job summary

The Fall Line in Butler, GA is seeking an Assistant Equipment Manager to lead maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of the golf course fleet. You will ensure safe, reliable operation and support daily course upkeep with the equipment team.

Reporting to the Equipment Manager, you will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and recordkeeping, while maintaining a clean, organized shop and high safety standards for optimal turf conditions.

Qualifications

Knowledge of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment maintenance and repair.
Experience with preventative maintenance practices.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical failures efficiently.
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment parts and materials.

Responsibilities

Communicate maintenance needs with the Equipment Manager and Superintendents.
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues on golf course maintenance equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on all equipment.
Maintain and organize shop, inventory, and records.
Ensure equipment is ready to meet course maintenance demands.
