Job summary

IMA Brookwood Golf Club in Burton, Michigan seeks a Golf Course Superintendent to lead maintenance, equipment, and daily operations starting late 2025 or early 2026. The role requires at least two years in golf course management and knowledge of turf practices, irrigation, and pesticide/chemical controls.

The position offers a salary range of $50,000–$60,000 per year, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. GCSAA membership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in golf course management.
• Knowledge of turf cultural practices.
• Prefer a member of the GCSAA.
• Knowledge of irrigation, pumps, wells, and automatic controls / drainage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance on the golf course.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Procure and manage supplies for daily operation.
• Ensure compliance with regulations including course and company policies.
• Train staff on safe operation of golf course equipment and daily care of equipment.
• Hire, train, and manage golf course staff.
• Control expenses and perform other duties as assigned.
