Job summary

Silverado Resort in Napa Valley, CA, is seeking a Full-Time Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance of 36 holes at a premier private resort. You will oversee budgets, capital plans, and the construction of greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers, while ensuring equipment maintenance and safety compliance.

The role requires an AA degree or equivalent, a pesticide license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in agronomy/ horticulture/ plant/ soil science or related field.
• Experience with budget planning and cost controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains the annual golf course maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Plans, organizes, and directs maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Supervises planting and cultural practices for turf grasses and ornamentals.
• Ensures equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
• Coordinates with vendors; reconciles invoices and payroll accordingly.
• Ensures compliance with city, state and federal regulations and safety training.
