Troon proudly operates Southern Trace Country Club in Shreveport, LA, seeking a Spray Technician/ Assistant in Training. You’ll learn to apply chemicals and fertilizers under supervision, keeping precise records and maintaining equipment on a bustling golf course.

Qualifications

• Experience on a golf course is preferred but not required.
• Valid State issued Driver's License.
• Meets Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Pesticide license not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make chemical and fertilizer applications under supervision of Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
• Maintain detailed records of applications and materials used.
• Manage inventory of chemicals and fertilizers.
• Calibrate and maintain spray/fertilizer application equipment.
• Spot spray selective or non-selective herbicides as directed.
• Apply fertilizer to all playing surfaces.
