Job summary

Thornberry Creek at Oneida in Green Bay, WI, seeks a friendly Golf Course Ranger/Marshal to ensure smooth rounds and excellent guest experiences during the 2026 season. You’ll monitor pace of play, enforce policies, guide players, and coordinate with staff to keep the course welcoming and safe.

The ideal candidate is golf-savvy, customer-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather. Weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and pace of play guidelines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain professional, calm, and friendly when addressing players regarding course policies.
• Must be able to work independently and make sound decisions on the course.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to drive a golf cart and have a valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in golf course operations, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pace of play and address slow groups professionally.
• Enforce course policies, etiquette, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with player inquiries, directions, and guest service needs.
• Relay course conditions and updates to golf shop staff.
• Locate lost golf balls and report course issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the course and signage.
• Assist with tournaments, outings, and events.
• Enforce golf cart rules and ensure carts are returned in good condition.
• Be a positive ambassador for Thornberry Creek at Oneida.
