Thornberry Creek at Oneida is seeking a dedicated Greenskeeper to join our Grounds Crew. This seasonal role supports daily maintenance of pristine turf and landscapes at a premier Wisconsin golf facility managed by KemperSports.

The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor work and contributes to exceptional course conditions. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn turf care practices, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn turf care best practices and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks.
• Rake bunkers, trim edges, and perform landscaping detail work.
• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and hand-watering as needed.
• Apply fertilizers, topdress, and seed to maintain healthy turf.
• Operate a variety of golf course maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor turf health, pests, and weather-related issues and report findings.
• Assist with aeration, sodding, and tree maintenance projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and equipment storage.

Located in Green Bay, WI, the property features two beautiful courses: the Championship 18-hole course and the scenic 9-hole Iroquois course. Known for its exceptional course conditions, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to excellence, Thornberry Creek provides an outstanding golf experience for players of all skill levels. Managed by KemperSports, the property emphasizes superior service and top-tier course maintenance.

Position Summary

Thornberry Creek at Oneida is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Greenskeeper to join our Grounds Crew. This role is essential in maintaining the golf course’s pristine playing conditions by performing daily turf care and landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is eager to contribute to the upkeep of a premier golf facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily golf course maintenance.
• Rake bunkers, trim edges, and complete other detail-oriented landscaping tasks.
• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and hand-watering as needed.
• Apply fertilizers, topdressing, and seed to maintain healthy turf conditions.
• Operate a variety of golf course maintenance equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor and report course conditions, including turf health, pests, and weather-related issues.
• Assist with special projects, such as aeration, sodding, and tree maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment storage areas.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous golf course maintenance or landscaping experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn golf course maintenance techniques and turf care best practices.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license required.
