Muskegon Community College is seeking a grounds crew staff member to maintain a safe and orderly golf course environment and assist multiple department teams. Work includes mowing greens, fairways, tees, irrigation, and course cleanup outdoors.
Open until filled, with duties spanning equipment operation, safety adherence, and customer service. The role requires physical work and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prior grounds/landscaping experience is preferred.

General Description: This position is responsible for maintaining a fun, welcoming, safe, secure, clean, and orderly golfing environment while assisting all teams within the department. The individual must be able to operate independently, demonstrate sound decision‑making, follow appropriate safety practices, and deliver top‑notch customer service across multiple areas, including but not limited to the clubhouse, parking lots, equipment, and select grounds areas.

Please note that individuals hired into this position may be employed by EDUStaff under contract with Muskegon Community College.
Must be able to perform repetitive body mechanics, including but not limited to climbing stairs, standing, stretching, twisting, bending, crouching and kneeling. Prolonged standing and sitting. Repetitive stretching, twisting, bending, and lifting along with working on ladders, roofs and crawl spaces. Must be able to adjust to differing weather conditions as nearly all work is outdoors. Occasional lifting: 50-70 lbs.; Regular lifting on a daily basis: 25-50 lbs.
