Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a part-time Seasonal Golf Course Marshal in Lake Alfred, FL. The role focuses on maintaining pace of play, assisting golfers with questions, and reporting issues to the maintenance team.

Responsibilities include setting up the course each morning, maintaining course etiquette, and promoting safety for spectators and players. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in demonstrated knowledge of operating and maintaining electric golf carts, chargers and compressors preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet.

• Monitor pace of play and reduce distractions.
• Locate and protect errant golf balls.
• Set up the course in the morning.
• Communicate with residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Promote safety and enjoyment of spectators.
• Fill divots with seed mixture and fix ball marks on greens.
• Ensure residents and guests adhere to the golf course dress code.
• Market the golf course, membership and special rates to daily fee players.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Cypress Greens $15 per hour $15 per hourOverview Golf Course Marshals patrol the golf course to ensure the pace of play is kept up so golfers don't have to wait long periods of time between shots. They assist and answer golfers' questions or concerns, and report maintenance issues and emergencies to the maintenance department as needed.

Job Duties

Requirements
