Job summary

Woodlake Trails is hiring Golf Course Starters in Casa Grande, AZ. You will manage starting times, tee sheets, and guide golfers to the first tee to ensure a smooth, pleasant experience for all players.

Responsibilities include monitoring tee times, coordinating flow of play, and promoting memberships and special rates while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor. This role involves interacting with residents and guests daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Monitors tee times (1st and 10th) and verifies receipts.
• Monitors flow of play and informs pro shop/GM of issues.
• Keeps tee time sheet up to date with pro shop.
• Ensures residents and guests follow the dress code.
• Assists golfers playing alone to find a game.
• Markets memberships and special rates to daily‑fee players.
• Communicates with residents and guests in a friendly manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Golf Course Starters are responsible for maintaining starting times, tee sheets, and ensuring golfers get to their first tee in a prompt and orderly manner. They are an important part of making sure customers have a pleasant golfing experience.

Job Duties

• Monitors the 1st and 10th tee starting times and verifies green free receipts (Essential)
• Monitors the flow of play from one nine to the next and advises pro shop team or General Manager of any potential issues (Essential)
• Collaborates with pro shop team members to ensure tee time sheet is up to date (Essential)
• Ensures all residents and guests adhere to the golf course dress code
• Assists golfers to find a game if they are playing alone
• Markets the golf course memberships and special rates to the daily fee players
• Communicates with residents and guests of the golf course in a friendly and courteous manner
• Other duties as assigned
