Job summary

Esplanade Golf & Country Club Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, FL is seeking a full-time Golf Course Maintenance Technician to join our grounds team. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, operate mower equipment, and assist with course conditioning to keep facilities in top playing condition.

The role requires the ability to read safety and procedure manuals, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical procedures.
• The role requires outdoor work and adaptability to a golf course environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Safely operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions.
• Operates weed-eaters and blowers.
• Edge, trims, and rakes bunkers.
• Has advanced experience setting cups and preparing course for play.
• Plants trees and shrubs, maintains flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal.
• Fertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs, cuts, rolls, lays, and waters sod.
• Installs and maintains sand bunkers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Safely operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions.
• Operates weed-eaters and blowers.
