Job summary

Country Club of Asheville is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time role requires early morning effort to prepare the course, including mowing, trimming, and managing greens, tees, fairways, rough, and bunkers.

You will work outdoors in all weather conditions and must be punctual for early shifts. Compensation is hourly with benefits for full-time staff, and pay is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions of the profession.
• Ability to move heavy objects (over 50 lbs).
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Early morning set up of the golf course.
• Mow and trim grass areas using walking and riding mowers.
• Manage all components of the course including greens, tees, fairways, rough and sand traps.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Early morning shifts are standard and punctuality is essential.
