Job summary

Country Club of Asheville, a McConnell Golf property, seeks a Golf Course Maintenance Technician for full-time outdoor work on our award‑winning course. The role involves dawn shifts, mowing and trimming, and managing greens, tees, fairways, rough, and traps while working in all weather conditions.

Pay is hourly in the USD 15.00–18.00 range, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), paid time off, holiday pay, and a daily staff meal.

Qualifications

• Safety awareness and adherence to hazards and safety precautions of the profession.
• Ability to move heavy objects (over 50 lbs) and perform manual tasks in outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Early morning set up of golf course.
• Mow and trim grass areas using walking and riding mowers.
• Manage greens, tees, fairways, rough, and sand traps.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Punctuality is essential for early shifts.
