Job summary

Esplanade at St Marys, located in St Marys, GA, is seeking a full-time Assistant Superintendent to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing knowledge of golf club operations. You will oversee maintenance and construction of the golf course, ensuring turfgrass care meets established standards, and collaborate with the Superintendent on budgeting and staffing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3–4 years related experience.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff.
• Knowledge of turfgrass maintenance and construction.
• Valid Driver’s License and Pesticide Application License.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and directing maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Oversee the annual maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate purchasing, vendor relationships and keep accurate records.
