Job summary

Charles T Myers Golf Course in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to manage daily maintenance and improvements to greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers. You will assist the Superintendent with budget adherence, supervise maintenance staff, plan operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and help train new associates.

Qualifications

• Technical school education preferred, not required.
• 2-3 years related golf course maintenance experience.
• Ability to obtain State pesticide license within 6 months.
• Experience coordinating maintenance budgets and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Supervise daily maintenance staff and ensure quality work.
• Monitor annual maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Ensure safety, licensing, and regulatory compliance for staff.
• Coordinate procurement and use of supplies within budget.
