Job summary

Cabot-Managed Properties seeks an Assistant Superintendent (Secondary) to work with the Golf Course Superintendent on day-to-day operations at Cascata Golf Club in Boulder City, NV. You will train and supervise the maintenance crew, ensure optimal course conditions, and assist in planning maintenance programs and event support.

The role emphasizes leadership in a resort golf environment, coordination with other departments, and adherence to agronomic best practices to maintain top-tier playing

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years’ experience in golf course operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to coordinate with other club departments for events, scheduling, and other club priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent in managing all aspects of the golf course.
• Perform calibration and application of pesticides and fertilizers.
• Operate and troubleshoot the course irrigation system.
• Assist in managing employees, including scheduling and supervising safe equipment usage.
• Apply cultural practices to greens, tees, and fairways.
• Implement agronomic best practices for course optimization.
• Keep detailed records of course management history and future plans.
• Scout and manage turf pests.
• Assist with equipment upkeep and repairs.
