Job description

Wintonbury Hills Golf Course is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for a Golf Course Maintenance position. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.

Essential Requirements

1. Ability to lift 50 pounds with relative ease.
2. Ease and freedom of mobility, as this is a physical position.
3. Prior landscape and/or golf course maintenance experience is helpful but not necessary.
4. An understanding of the game of golf is helpful but not required.
5. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: operation of hand and power tools, powered equipment as needed in maintaining various areas of the golf course and grounds.
6. Availability to work early mornings and seasonal weekend half-days, mostly outdoors.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage: up to $19.75 per hour, 40-hour work week, with overtime on weekends for hours exceeding 40, depending on qualifications, through 11/20/2025.

About the Club

Wintonbury Hills is a public 18-hole championship golf course, built in 2001 and designed by renowned architects Pete Dye and Tim Liddy. The course features a good assortment of maintenance equipment with a replacement program in place. Many projects are underway to improve agronomics, turf health, design, and playability. Owned by the Town of Bloomfield and operated by Indigo/Troon Golf Management, the largest golf management company in the world.
